The domain name is managed, and traffic is relayed, by Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which provides the DNS service and the content delivery network (CDN). Cloudflare does not host the Service’s data.

Nature of the Service and role of merchants
Maleda is intended for shopkeepers and craftspeople (professionals). It provides them with a website for their business, a directory, a management area and, as options, online booking, pick-up orders and other features.
Each shop website is published under the responsibility of the merchant concerned. The merchant’s identification details (name, address, telephone, business number) appear on the “Legal information” page of the shop’s site. For the content that merchants publish, Maleda acts as a hosting provider and technical service provider: it does not choose this content and does not check it before publication.
Maleda is not a party to the sales or services agreed between a merchant and its customers.
Reporting illegal content
If you believe that content published on the Service (a shop’s website, photo, text, displayed review) is illegal, write to contact@maleda.eu stating, in accordance with Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 and Article 6, I, 5 of the French LCEN:
- the reasons why you consider the content illegal, in sufficiently precise terms;
- the exact address (URL) of the content concerned;
- your name and e-mail address (except for certain serious offences, in particular against minors);
- a statement of good faith confirming that the information provided is accurate and complete.
We acknowledge receipt of your report, examine it diligently and inform you of our decision and of the available means of redress. When we remove or restrict content, we inform the merchant concerned and give the reasons for our decision (Article 17 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065), reminding them of their right to challenge it.
Anyone who submits a notice that they know to be false or abusive may incur liability (Article 6, I, 4 of the LCEN).
Intellectual property
The brand, logo, the name “Maleda”, the software, the website templates, the drawn illustrations (sample products) and the texts of the Service belong to the publisher or its licensors. Any reproduction, representation or reuse, in whole or in part, without written permission is prohibited, except for the exceptions provided by law.
The texts, photos, prices and other content of a shop’s website belong to the merchant who publishes them (or to its own licensors) and are the merchant’s responsibility.
Photo credits and map data
The cover photos offered to merchants are royalty-free photographs (public domain or CC0 licence). The full list (file, title, author, source and licence of each photo) is public: view the credits.
The geographic coordinates of shops are obtained from the address using OpenStreetMap: © OpenStreetMap contributors, data under the ODbL licence (openstreetmap.org/copyright).
Addresses in France are verified with the Base Adresse Nationale (Open Licence) and the existence of French companies with the business directory (data from Insee’s SIRENE database, Open Licence); European VAT numbers are verified with the European Commission’s VIES service.
Reviews and Street View imagery that may be displayed on a shop’s website come from Google and remain the property of Google and their authors.
Personal data and cookies
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy. The data processing agreement governs the processing of merchants’ customers’ data. The cookie policy details what is stored in your browser.
Mediation, governing law and jurisdiction
The Service is intended exclusively for professionals: consumer mediation does not apply to this contract. The parties first seek an amicable solution.
This notice is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable solution, the competent courts of the place where the publisher has its registered office have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory rules of jurisdiction applicable to consumers.
