I already have a Facebook page or a Google listing. Why bother?
Keep them. Your Maleda site is your own address, under your control: hours always right, menu, bookings and your customers’ reviews in one place. And you can post to Facebook and Instagram from your assistant (option).
How long does it take?
Four questions, about 5 minutes. Your site shows up right away, with examples you replace whenever you like. After that, changing hours or a product is one sentence.
What if I stop?
Cancel in one click from your account, no reason needed. Your site stays online until the end of the period already paid, then stops. Nothing more to pay.
Does it work for my trade?
Baker, butcher, garage, coach, photographer: each has its own colours and words. Not on the list? Pick the closest: hours, products, appointments and orders work the same for everyone.
Who handles my data and the allergens?
Your data is used for your site, and nothing else. Allergens are written by you, never made up by a machine. Google reviews are never copied: only the link to your listing is kept. Everything is detailed in our privacy policy.
What if I don’t have a company or VAT number?
We need one to check that your business exists: that’s what keeps fakes out of the directory. Company number, VAT number or trading licence depending on the country, the one for your activity is enough. It is never shown on your site.
How do I pay?
By card, online, on Stripe’s secure page: your card details never pass through Maleda. Automatic invoice every month; yearly, 2 months free.
Will I be first on Google?
Nobody can promise you that, and we won’t. What we do: a clean address in your name, a page per trade and per town in the directory, and information written so that search engines understand it. The rest depends on your town and your competitors.
